Easy. Simple. Just like training?
1. I follow your blog. I like it.
ReplyDelete2. My best marathon advice is: No matter how many long runs you do to prepare, around the 18-22 mile mark of your marathon, it's going to hurt. This is where the mental aspect of running comes in. Keep your head down, spirits high, pick your feet up and keep moving. When you hit that last mile before the finish- just when you think you have nothing left- use your heart. Works all the time. :)
3. My favorite race....Mount Desert Island Marathon in Maine- during peak fall season. The trees glow colors I'll never forget. The Rome Marathon is pretty amazing, too...
(p.s. I don't need to win anything- I just wanted to share my thoughts)
Be proud of your accomplishments, Ann. Keep inspiring!
